Spend 20 minutes behind the scenes with our Capybaras! This is your chance to meet these fantastic creatures and find out about how they live in the wild.
Who is it for?
For up to four participants aged 8+. Due to health and safety reasons, participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a participant aged 18+.
What does the encounter cost?
£60 per person.
When is it available?
Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 11:30am for 20 minutes behind the scenes in the Viva South America enclosure.
Capybara Mini Experience Accessibility Information
The Capybara Experience provides exclusive access to behind-the-scenes areas of our capybara habitat. For the safety of both participants and animals, it is important that all guests are able to understand and independently follow instructions from our expert animal keepers at all times.
Before booking, please consider the following:
- Participants must be aged 8 years or over.
- Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a paying adult participant.
- Participants must be able to independently follow verbal safety instructions and respond appropriately to changing situations.
- The experience involves walking through animal areas and navigating some uneven ground. A reasonable level of mobility is required.
- Participants should be comfortable being in close proximity to animals and following guidance from our expert animal keepers throughout the experience.
- Due to the nature of the environment and the animals involved, participants must be able to remain calm and follow staff instructions at all times.
