Step inside the meerkat enclosure for an up-close encounter with these curious creatures. Join our keepers to learn all about their behaviour and habits. Take part in helping our keepers prepare enrichment for our mob of Meerkats, then watch as they enjoy searching for their tasty treats during your 20-minute encounter.
Who is it for?
Up to four participants aged 6+. Due to health and safety reasons, participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by a participant aged 18+.
What does the encounter cost?
£40 per participant.
Does not include day admission. Please purchase admission to the zoo here.
When is it available?
12pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Please ensure you arrive at the meerkat enclosure at least 5 minutes before your Encounter begins. When arriving at the zoo, you will be given a physical ticket for the Meerkat Encounter. Please hand this ticket, along with your signed agreement form, to the Keeper at the beginning of the Encounter.
