Bear Encounter

Get up close.. really close to our Spectacled Bears. Go behind the scenes and enjoy an exclusive up-close encounter with our male bear Rasu. Join our Keepers on the view point to meet Madidi and her cubs Beni and Tuichi (from a safe distance of course!), whilst learning about the feeding and enrichment for our family of bears.
Who is it for?
The Encounter can be booked for up to 2 participants aged 18 or over.
When is it available?
Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday at 2:30pm for 20 minutes behind the scenes.
Please ensure you arrive at the zoo at least 10 minutes before your encounter begins.
What does the encounter cost?
£70 per participant.
